Be Something Great is a brand created by a, then, teenage boy who had many struggles growing up in school due to being diagnosed with ADHD at an early age. He first wrote this book as a project request from his mom at the onset of Covid-19 in 2020. It was her attempt to ensure that being at home didn’t mean video games and naps. Unhappy about this task, Byron respectfully wrote about how his love for football and how it taught him more than just plays on the field; but how the sport groomed him to have many characteristics such as being brave, being a good leader, community service, teamwork, and so much more. Be Something Great is a true story about Byron Randon II that many children can relate to. It's inspirational and will remind anyone that they can also be GREAT!
His only goal is to encourage youth, especially those dealing with ADHD and struggling with academics and behavior, that everything they need to be successful is inside of them. They only need to believe it for themselves.
Byron has found joy in writing books and is currently a college student at Brazosport College and is still a respected leader in his community.
